Editorial policy
This site earns trust or it earns nothing. These are the rules our published content follows, and you're welcome to hold us to them.
Accuracy rules
- No invented numbers. We don't publish performance percentages, prices, customer counts or search statistics we can't source. Film performance figures belong to manufacturer specification sheets, and we say so.
- No fake social proof. No invented reviews, testimonials, star ratings or "trusted by" claims. If review content ever appears, it will be genuine and attributable.
- Limits stated plainly. Reflective privacy film reverses at night. Security film doesn't make glass unbreakable. Film doesn't suit every glass type. Our content says these things because they're true.
- General information, not advice. Content here doesn't replace advice from glazing professionals, certifiers, insurers or lawyers about your specific situation, and we flag this where it matters.
Location content
Location pages are individually written with genuinely local considerations. We publish a location page only when it meets our internal quality gate; placeholder or thin pages are excluded from search indexing until they're ready. We don't claim local offices or teams we don't have; we're an online matching service.
Commercial separation
Installers may pay us for introductions. They do not pay for editorial coverage, placement in guides, or favourable treatment in content. Guides are written to help buyers, including in ways that make selling harder, like teaching readers to demand specification sheets.
Review and correction
Each guide shows its author and last-reviewed date. Where a subject-matter expert reviews a guide, they're named. Found an error? Email hello@officewindowtinting.com.au. Corrections are made promptly and material ones noted on the page.
